Michael Hinshaw, President
Michael Hinshaw founded MCorp in 2003 to address what he saw as a significant opportunity at the intersection of brand and customer experience, and in the increasing complexity of both in the changing digital economy.
Prior to founding MCorp, Michael was President and CEO of Verida, a public company with operations throughout North America. He was responsible for growing the company from inception to a $300mm business, recognized as the largest independent grain trader in Canada and for its development of scalable ecommerce trading platforms. Earlier, he was President of brand strategy consultancy Triad, inc. He has served as a director for public, private and non-profit organizations.
Michael has been published and quoted in dozens of publications, and has delivered workshops, speeches and training programs to a wide variety of organizations. He has been a featured speaker for organizations including The American Bankers Association, D-Brand Summit, IQPC and others, including speaking on customer experience and CRM at SAP's CRM 2011 conference.
Also a mentor and lecturer at U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business, he was previously an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University's Ageno School of Business. Michael pursued his formal education at the University of San Francisco and the Academy of Art University, receiving a BA in 1985 and an MFA in 1988 from the Academy.
